Parent Mentor Program

As Parent Mentor for Middletown City Schools, I serve as a support person for families of children with special needs. I am also a parent of a child with special needs so I understand the joys and challenges we face. I am one of the few people in the school district that can remain with you and your child from the time he or she enters preschool until they graduate high school.

I am always available to help by attending meetings with you, sharing information about parenting and educating a child with special needs, problem solving with the school district when conflicts arise, or locating community resources when needed. This web page provides only a small number of the free resources that are available to you. A comprehensive library and other booklets and information are available in the Parent Mentor office.
